Turkey tail whisk broom making class
In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn to work with broomcorn (sorghum) to craft a beautiful and functional traditional turkey wing whisk broom. Registration is required for this event.
Join Emileigh Zola for an afternoon of intentional crafting in a space rooted in depth, belonging, and inspiration. Known for her grounded, embodied presence, Emileigh creates a welcoming environment where participants feel seen, supported, and invited into the process of making with care.
Emileigh will guide you step by step through the technique, sharing skills that can be carried into future broom-making. If time allows, participants will have the opportunity to create a second broom to take home.
Moderate hand strength is needed for this craft and use of the feet will be necessary.
