Outdoor Learning Experiences
Field trips at Fence Foothills Equestrian Nature Center run weekday mornings and last 2โ3 hours. Students explore scenic nature trails with guided instruction, then spend time in the Nature Classroom meeting resident animals and engaging with hands-on exhibits. Every program aligns with local science curriculum standards.
Group Size:
Accommodates up to 100 students. Groups over 30 rotate between trail exploration and classroom sessions.
Lunch:
Many groups bring packed lunches and picnic on the grounds.
Accessibility:
Fence Foothills Equestrian Nature Center welcomes students of all abilities. The Nature Classroom, restrooms, and the 1/3-mile Wildwood Trail are wheelchair accessible, and experienced staff support special needs groups. Contact Fence Foothills Equestrian Nature Center to discuss accommodations.
